Conducted series of webinars with municipal representatives on inter-municipal cooperation model of Civil Servants professional development

In collaboration with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), we have completed a series of webinars with municipal representatives on inter-municipal cooperation model of Civil Servants professional development. Around 180 representatives of all municipalities of Georgia have participated to the webinars.

The Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC) was developed the inter-municipal cooperation model in the framework of the project “Creating a Model of Capacity Development System (CDS) on Local Economic Development (LED) for Local Self Governments in Georgia” initiated and supported by the UNDP.

The proposed model is based on the principle of regional cooperation between municipalities in the field of professional development of civil servants and envisages joint procurement of training programs through tender. The model is fully adapted to the current regulatory framework for the professional development of civil servants and procurement procedures. Most importantly, the model ensures cost-efficiency of training, also to procure high-quality training programs and to fully implement annual capacity development plans of municipalities.
