Workshop on Inter-municipal model of training of public servants

On January 25, the Center for Training and Consulting (CTC), with the support of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI), held a workshop: Inter-municipal model of training of public servants.

The model was developed by CTC in 2019 with the support of UNDP and was successfully introduced in 2020 in the municipalities of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, and in 2021 – in the Kakheti region with the support of EU.

The Workshop was held in a hybrid format. It combined a “live” in-person event with a “virtual” online component and was attended by about 90 representatives of almost all municipalities of Georgia.  The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and the Deputy State Representative in the Kakheti Region.

The workshop participants discussed the advantages of the inter-municipal model of public servants’ training, its implementation practices, challenges and argued the prospects for its farther application in other regions of Georgia.

The event was organized within the framework of the EU-funded project: Municipal Services Quality Assessment Toolkit (MUSQAT).
